Your first visit to Saltmeadow

The first visit takes about an hour. You leave knowing what we found, what we suggest, how many visits we expect, and the cost.

How it works

  1. Call the front desk

Call (941) 555-0147. Pilar books the visit, checks your insurance, and texts you the intake form.

  2. History and exam

We ask about the problem and your health, then check how you move, your strength and your reflexes.

  3. A plan in writing

What we found, what we suggest, how many visits we expect, and the cost, before any care starts.

  4. First treatment and home plan

If you agree, your first treatment happens the same day, with two or three exercises for home.

Your first visit

Wear comfortable clothes. Bring your insurance card, a list of your medications, and any imaging reports.

Nervous about being adjusted? Tell us. You can ask for an instrument or drop table, or no adjustment on the first day. You decide every step.

Insurance

  • Florida Blue
  • Aetna
  • Cigna
  • UnitedHealthcare
  • Medicare

We check your benefits before your first visit and tell you what your plan says it pays. Your insurer makes the final decision. Medicare covers spinal adjustments only, not exams, X-rays or massage.

For plans we are not in, we give you a receipt to send in yourself.

Payment and financing

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, HSA and FSA cards, Cash and checks.

The Saltmeadow monthly plan

For patients without chiropractic coverage: two visits a month at one flat price, home plan included. Sample price only.

No contract. Stop or pause in any month.

New patient questions

What does a visit cost without insurance?

We post our cash prices at the front desk and tell you the cost before any care. The monthly plan is another option. Sample practice: prices are placeholders.

Do you take auto injury or workers' compensation cases?

This sample practice focuses on family care. We refer auto injury and workers' compensation cases to colleagues who handle that paperwork every day.

Can I bring my kids to my appointment?

Yes. The adjusting rooms have space for a stroller, and the front desk keeps books and crayons for siblings.
